Through this Request for Proposals (RFP), the Department of Youth and Community Development (DYCD) is seeking appropriately qualified vendors to conduct an evaluation of DYCD-funded Out-Of-School Time programs for middle school youth, hereafter referred to as Schools Out NYC (SONYC) programs. The evaluation would document the implementation and outcomes of SONYC programs, including programs under existing contracts that are subject to new requirements. The implementation component would include a profile of participant characteristics, program features such as staffing patterns and types of activities, and patterns of participation. It will also entail an in-depth study of 25-32 programs. The anticipated started date for these services will be October 1, 2014.
