Among the five routes selected for BRT demonstration projects is the Nostrand Avenue Corridor (B44 Bus Route). Representatives of MTA-NYCT, and the DOT will discuss the goals of the BRT project which are to introduce a new, high performance transit option for New York City and to improve the speed, performance, and appeal of bus service on key corridors around New York City. 2.
