2. Hospitals in the New York City public hospital system are facing a whopping budget deficit of $68 million. Kings County Hospital alone faces a budget shortfall of $4.4 million in FY 2011. Discuss advocacy steps and outreach to elected officials to restore proposed budget cuts to the Health and Hospitals Corporation and a devastating impact on our indigent community.
3. Representatives from the Black Veterans Group will discuss issues affecting veterans of our most recent wars.
4. Review and discuss Community Health Profiles for Central Brooklyn.
5. Planning for participation in the Kings County Hospital Health Fair.
6. Any other business.
